It is a startup company focusing on the research and development and industrialization of third-generation semiconductor electronic devices and circuit modules. The company's founding members are mainly from Xidian University, Purdue University, and other top research institutions in the field of third-generation semiconductors.bigAcademician Hao Yue, a top scholar in the world for third-generation semiconductors, serves as the company’s chief scientific advisor and technical guide.

The company's main business is the research and development and industrialization of gallium nitride microwave power devices, power electronic devices and their circuit modules. Its products include gallium nitride microwave diodes, gallium nitride millimeter wave diodes, microwave HEMT devices, power electronic devices, microwave rectifier modules, microwave limiting modules, microwave switch modules and their MMIC chips.

More than 100,000 GaN microwave diode samples developed in the early stage of this project team have been supplied and delivered to major customers.

In March 2021, the Ministry of Science and TechnologyThe approval supports the construction of the National Third Generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Center, which is jointly built by Jiangsu Province and Shenzhen City, and has set up Jiangsu Platform and Shenzhen Platform. The Jiangsu Platform is built and implemented by the Jiangsu Third Generation Semiconductor Research Institute located in the park. Guangzhou Third Generation Semiconductor Innovation Center

The Wide Bandgap Semiconductor National Engineering Research Center is one of the key projects in the semiconductor field in China, approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2019 and constructed by Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. It is a national-level research center for the development of third-generation new semiconductor technology, achievement transformation, talent cultivation, technology cooperation, and exchange.
